Question: What's the funniest scientific discovery you've ever done?

I am not sure if funny is the word I would use, but during my PhD studies, I was working on how some chemical compounds accumulated in fish. That meant that I had to go fishing for the first time in my life, and even worse, I had to analyse those fish, which meant that I did not eat fish for more than a year, and eventually, I became a vegetarian.
