So when I was in school I loved biology. It was one of my favorite subjects. I knew I wanted to become a scientist, I just wasn’t sure what type of science!
When I went to college/university I chose a course that was quite general. I learned biology, chemistry, physics and math in my first year. When I started to learn about microbiology I knew it was the one for me! Microbiology is present in many sectors, from food, to medicine, to agriculture and disinfectants! I loved learning about so many broad sectors and it was so interesting to learn about bacteria that are so small even the naked eye cant see them!
