      No, most of the time they are not. In general, GMO foods are not changed all that much. Sometimes, they are just edited in a way to speed up normal breeding processes, since those take a really long time to work properly, and by doing it genetically, you can do it in half the time. Other times, they contain proteins which will kill insects and other pests, but don’t harm humans since they break down in our bodies almost immediately and are harmless.
